\"Poker\" <\/p>\n

Poker is a card game that involves combinations of cards that have the same rank. Pairs are two cards of the same rank plus any fifth card. In case of a tie, the highest pair wins, and the lower pair loses. A no-pair hand is one that has no pair of cards. It also does not contain two cards of the same rank or a pair of high cards.<\/p>\n

The purpose of this game is to create the highest hand possible by using the five cards on the table and one from one’s hand. The best hand wins the pot. The cards are then revealed one by one to determine the winner. If you do not have a high hand, you are out. Alternatively, you can use a card from your hand and four cards from the table to make your best hand.<\/p>\n

In poker, bluffing is a key component. This is what sets the game apart from other vying games. When a player is confident of his or her hand, he or she can raise or fold. This strategy is known as “raising”. The higher your hand is, the more chance you have of winning.<\/p>\n

While poker can be played with any number of players, six to eight players are ideal. A pot is the total of the bets made by all players in one deal. A player can win the pot by having the best poker hand or by making a bet that no other player calls.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
